I consider it just short of a miracle that you were able to swing this home for us, especially since we live out of state!! You were always "right there" with an answer for me every time I saw something on the Multiple Listings that looked interesting. You commented on the neighborhood, the price, and the value of the home in terms of a "good deal" for the house and neighborhood.
You volunteered to meet me at the airport to show me around and take me to the home I felt was our ideal. (Before that, you went to the neighborhood and took pictures that were not included on the website to give me an idea if I wanted to pursue it or not.) Later you even met us at the house to show it to my in-laws!

I am writing this letter to sing the praises of our realtor, Salvador Del Cid. I couldn’t have been more pleased.
As first time home buyers, my husband and I had a lot of questions and a lot of apprehension. We knew the Portland market was hot and getting hotter, but we didn’t want to act rashly and wind up with something we would regret. Sal was calm, cool and collected. He started our search with a broad brush. He really listened to what we wanted and began to tailor our searches accordingly. He gave us a chance to talk candidly about properties we viewed and learned from what we said. When he saw a spark of interest, he tuned in and provided us with the information we needed to make an informed decision. Even more importantly, he gave us time to think without undue pressure.
Sal had other clients while he helped us find our home, but we wouldn’t have known it if he hadn’t told us. He was always a phone call or an email away. When we found a house we wanted to see, he made time for us, and if he found something new five minutes after we parted, he would call us immediately, and we would start the process again. He worked around our needs, delivered paperwork at times and places most convenient for us and never missed a beat from beginning to end.
With Sal’s help, we found a house that fulfilled all of our needs in neighboring Milwaukie. He was with us for the crossing of every “t,” the dotting of every “i.” We worked with him so closely in fact, I sort of felt like I was losing a mentor and a friend the day we closed on the house and left the title office.
Of course with Sal, it didn’t end there. He kept in touch even after the sale, to make sure we were enjoying our new home. A few years down the road, I know he’ll be the first person we call when get ready to do this all over again.
